It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Halloween!!!!
Wait, what were you thinking is the most wonderful time of the year?
Hehe so it's no secret that i'm a lover of Halloween. And am sad every year when it's over.
This year has been extra special too because my little brother was a "spook" in This Is The Place Heritage Park's Haunted Village!!!!
It was extra fun to go with my cute parents =)
My sweet mama telling a story while waiting in the massive line.
The Haunted Village did not disappoint!! That park is borderline creepy as it is with all the old authentic pioneer homes, so going there at night, with everything decked out to it's creepiest was so much fun!!
They had a theme behind everything going on as you walked through the village path.
And we even recognized my little brother and he got quite the scare out of my Mom =)
I was soo tempted to snap a pic of him but they made it clear at the beginning that flash photography was prohibited because it could blind the "spooks" Pshh..whatever haha.
But a las...I did follow the rules.
We carved pumpkins with our good friends MarKelle! That's our celebrity couple nick name for them haha
Mark got creative and carved a pumpkin in a pumpkin! He wouldn't let us see it until it was all finished and then made us guess what it was haha.
I loved my pumpkin for about a day and then it got all wilty and the head caved in. Lame!! I used my sisters advice and put a pencil behind it to hold it up..but it just wasn't the same...
I really loved Tyler's Jack The Pumpkin King =)
He free handed it!
We then watched the 1980 The Changeling after all the carving was done. SUUUCh a good Halloween flick!!
Wow I just looked it up on IMDB.com and it says it's R. I really have NO idea why...weird. Maybe back then it was considered R but today it would definitely be PG-13.
We had fun family Halloween parties! =)
classic donut eating contest =)
So impressive...Tyler's brother Devin and his wifey Sarah. She made her dress over conference weekend. No big deal ;)
Home made carmel apples =) Sarah even brought white chocolate and chocolate to melt and dip the apples in. Yummy!
My family Halloween party. It's tradition to sing Halloween carols =)
Love it!
our foam pumpkin we carved this year =)
blast from last years Halloween =)
Yes i'm aware we didn't dress up for this...it was a busy day.
but at least some of the other cousins did!
such cute costumes!
My little brother's creepy mask
Mom and Pop
My Mom wears that costume almost every year. She sewed it!
We had a Halloween party with our friends from high school! =)
All the hubby's and wifey's were high school sweethearts. SO cute right??
Zach and Heidi.
We saw them walking towards us outside when we got there. Creepily awesome!!
easiest cheapest costume we could come up with. Loved it =)
Lots of fun =)
Happy HalloweeeeenN!!!
I also love this one because well..it's only one of the best movies of all time!!
And a must see every year!
A bloggity post to come on what else we've been up to =)
