a name and a blessing.

We decided to bless Halli on Sunday August 5th 2012. It was such a treat to have my sister there and was why we blessed her when we did. Tyler gave Halli a beautiful beautiful blessing. I recorded it and have been meaning to type it up. He spent a good chunk of the morning preparing for it =) Thankfully my Mom came down early to help me get everything/everyone ready.
Halli was great during the blessing thankfully. It all happened so fast and I couldn't believe it was actually my baby's blessing. I've sat through so many baby blessings dreaming about the day i'd be blessing my baby with my husband. It was almost perfect. Poor Halli had a hard time getting so much attention after her blessing. The open house afterwards was packed full of people wanting to see her, touch her, hold her. I think she got overwhelmed and was overtired. Poor thing. So the pictures were hard but oh well what can ya do right?
Her blessing dress was made by my Grandma and has been passed down throughout the family.

She went RIGHT to sleep as soon as we got into our apt. Still in her dress. That's Tyler's phone behind the pillow with the white noise app going. Helps get her to sleep and most importantly KEEPS her asleep ;)
