Merry Christmas Feliz Navidad!

Oh how words cannot explain how absolutely wonderful it is to spend Christmas with my sweetheart!! Two years apart from the one you love is just plain hard! But during the most wonderful time of the year it super duper hard!! I was so excited for Christmas this year I even broke my life long rule of no Christmas music before Thanksgiving! Yep We were jammin' out to Jingle Bell Rock by the first week of November! It's been such a fun year! The only thing missing in our Holiday season is my sister and her beautiful family! But we can't get them every year or we would be spoiled rotten! They're currently in Washington D.C. for my brother in laws job in the U.S. Embassy. Super cool job except for the fact that we hardly get to see them! They will be moving to Tunis, Tunisia in January for another two years! Thank you SKYPE! My little Britannia and Petra are growing up way too fast. Here's a christmas tribute to my sweet nieces!

and this is a current picture of my nieces in D.C. with Santa. They're growing too fast!
I am grateful however for an adorable nephew Troy and another nephew due March 1st on Tyler's side =) Super excited for that and the fact that they live 5 minutes from us! Who knows maybe nephew #2 will have the same birthday as Tyler! March 2nd!

Well our Christmas tree this year is super humble. But we love it. Thank you Mom!! We have a bigger fake tree thanks to my former roommate Chyla =) We just have NO room for it. Anywhere. Maybe next year =) So last week Tyler and I decided it was time to finally do our Christmas shopping. We came up with a budget during his lunch break at work and by the time he got home his presents were already wrapped and on the table next to the tree! He was so surprised =) I had in mind what I was going to get him, if our budget would allow for quite sometime. It's been driving him crazy ever since because he has absolutely no idea what it could be. HEHE ;) My plan exactly! Then the next picture is after he got some shopping done for me!

We also went to The Festival Of The Trees a little while ago with some friends and it was so much fun! The crowds were the most i've ever seen them though, but I guess that's what you get for going the last day of the festival. But it's worth it since we got to hear and see the Salt Lake Scots play! And don't forget the one of a kind Festival Of The Tree's delicious scones! It was fun going with our friends who had never been there before or partaken of the to die for cinnamon and sugar scones.

Tyler and I found a tree we both liked. BYU/UTAH tree! There were a lot with that theme but this one was the best looking one there .

Also this last week was my Dad's birthday!!!! Every year for nearly three decades now, on my Dad's birthday we do a movie marathon. My dad LOVES movies. As does the rest of our family! We usually do a movie marathon in the theaters and spend a day at Jordan Commons or Landing, usually hitting up about 5 movies, sometimes 6 if we're lucky! Just depends on the length of the movies. Like last year with Blind Side and Avatar in the same day. Those movies took the cake when it came to length! And even when it didn't come to length! Those were just awesome movies. Anyways this year however we decided to stay at home and rent movies my Dad hadn't seen yet and wanted to. Since my parents installed a projector system about a year ago, our TV room was seriously just as good as the theaters if not better! Cause we got the comfort of love sacs and snacking foods! We started at 10:30 and saw:
A-Team(such a fun movie!!  I'd never heard of it so I wasn't all that excited about it but oh man! Loved it! It's a re-make from a TV series with Mr. T and stuff. So much fun.)
Despicable Me(also loved this one!! It's a must see for sure!!)
Scott Pilgrim VS. The World(this movie was fun..yet different. It was well done but not for everyone. If you love video games and that kinda stuff it's probably the movie for you! It has Michael Cera in it so he always makes things fun)
Knight and Day(oh man also a must see! Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise work well together :)
S A L T(this was the last movie Tyler and I saw since he had to work the next morning and traffic to Provo is AWFUL. We actually liked Salt despite the many horrible things we'd heard about it. Yea it got terribly confusing and fast paced but thankfully we had the luxury of rewinding. Still a fun movie though.) Then my Dad and brother stayed up to watch The Killers. Tyler and I had already seen it but thankfully my Dad saved it for last cause it ended up being his least favorite. Gotta love Ashton Kutcher though. Mhhmm =)

                      MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
